What corporate services can Areopad be integrated with?
Areopad can be integrated with several classes of corporate systems: Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), Enterprise Content Management Systems (ECM), email services, video conferencing systems, etc.
Does it have a built-in video conferencing feature for meetings?
The built-in videoconferencing system is not provided in the solution, but can be implemented in two ways: by integrating with the customer's videoconferencing system (e.g. Skype for Business) or by running the videoconferencing system simultaneously with Areopad using the Split View tool on iPad.
Is Areopad an on-premise or a cloud-based software?
Though Areopad can be deployed in the cloud, we developed it as an on-premise solution. These advantages of deploying the solution on customer's servers are:
- Higher level of data protection (as it is stored on the company's servers, and not transmitted to the cloud).
- Faster processing of large amounts of data.
- More opportunities to customize the solution according to the company's business processes.
- More methods are available for integrating the solution with other systems.
Does Areopad provide executive secretaries with tools to work remotely?
Yes, all Areopad users can work remotely and avoid the paper workflow. If a company supports electronic document workflow and ensures a secure remote connection for its employees, all work duies of an executive secretary can be performed remotely.
